BT-ISYKONE implants are indicated for single or multiple unit restorations in splinted or non-splintedapplications. They are suitable for two-stage or single-stage healing combined with immediate, early or delayedloading protocols if sufficient primary stability and appropriate loading is ensured. Restorations range fromremovable / fixed single crowns to partial / full dental arch restorations or overdenture applications to restorethe masticatory function and appropriate aesthetics.The key feature of the BT-ISYKONE concept comprises a standardized endosseous screw-type implant bodycombined with tree different prosthetic connections offering maximum versatility based on a single implantthread type and a corresponding surgical kit.
This bone-level, root-shaped and self-tapping implant offers a back-tapered, micro-threaded smooth neck portion of 0,8-1,15 mm and is well suitable for most indications. BT-ISYKONE is placed at bone level and offers both, healing modes. The single-lead square thread pitch on BT-ISYKONE measures 0,9 mm for all diameters including Ø 3.3 mm / Ø 3.7 mm / Ø 4.1 mm / Ø 4.8 mm. BT-ISYKONE is a highly versatile type of implant line. It shares the surgical kit with BT-SAFE and BT-NANO.
EXTERNAL HEXAGON (EXT)BTK’s external hexagon connection comprises a parallel hexagon at 0.7 mm height and a 90° shoulder to allow a flat-to-flat margin fit to the implant. Abutments are connected to the implant using a M1.8 (EN) or M2.0 (ER/EW) abutment screw.The abutment screw plays a central role for the mechanical, long-term strength and fatigue resistance of the implant abutment connection. The requirements for such a screw are many, such as no loosening, long-term fatigue resistance, overload protection and safe pick-up and handling ability.Due to the fact that the abutment screw is exposed to heavy dynamic loads, the precise application of tightening torque force is essential.
